Workshops
Date: Tue November 1, 2011
Schedule: 13.30 - 15.00 (UTC+3h)
Location: Meeting Room 101
The 3 Es of Education, Environment and Energy are inextricably linked. You can't sustainably improve one without the other. When we consider the future of learning, we need to equip our young people with the skills to challenge the existing way of doing things across these 3 Es, and replace them with new approaches that are relevant to their time. Education systems will need to nurture creative innovators who can engineer a future that is energy and environmentally neutral while exploring beyond this planet. Participants debated and explored what real 21st-century learning means in day-to-day educational practice.
Facilitator: Mr. Graham BROWN-MARTIN, Founder, Learning Without Frontiers (LWF), UK
