WISE Haiti Case Study: ESIH

See video

Founded in 1994, ESIH (Ecole Supérieure de de l’Infotronique de Haïti) is a private Haitian university that offers courses in computer science, information and communication technology, management and accounting to 1,000 students. Grounded on the principle that it is cheaper to train experts within the country than to pay for them to come from abroad, it is developing partnerships with major companies. ESIH was almost entirely destroyed in the January 2010 earthquake and rebuilding is under way.
