He argues for an education system that develops social entrepreneurs with the skills required to change their worlds. Mr Drayton suggests that in the 21st century the new foundational skills for relevant education should be empathy, initiative and teamwork. Realising such a shift requires finding creative ways to promote these skills, and assessing children on this basis rather than through traditional measures.
