Launched in 2009, the WISE Awards recognized significant achievements that contributed to enhancing Pluralism, Sustainability and Innovation in Education.
Highlighting the importance of the inaugural year of the WISE Awards, Dr. Abdulla bin Ali Al-Thani, Chairman of WISE and Chairman of the WISE Awards Jury, stated: “For the first edition, the WISE Awards 2009 honor innovative, education-related projects and initiatives - tools, practices or processes - that have fostered distinctive cross-educational collaboration.”
