World Innovation Summit for Education
WISE is a unique global event whose ambition is to create a new international multi-disciplinary platform to shape the education models of the 21st century. Opinion leaders and decision makers from around the world will join education experts to share visions and actions through open and insightful discussions.
Offer a better understanding of key current and future educational issues
WISE will offer participants, both those present in Doha and those participating via the Internet, the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the current and emerging issues affecting the global education agenda and offer a way of sharing innovative ways to address them.
Promote a global multicultural vision through an interdisciplinary event
WISE will draw leaders and decision makers from governments, businesses, civil society, universities, international institutions, non-governmental organizations, grassroots’ movements, top tier media influencers, the arts and other creative communities around the globe. The Forum will have at its core an interdisciplinary model that will foster a mix of widely divergent categories of participants who rarely meet.

Mobilising global networks in order to implement sustainable solutions.
A ‘WISE Awards 2009’ to identify and promote on a global scale cutting-edge innovations in education tools, practices and processes.
