Dr Mehool H. Sanghrajka is Group Chief Executive of the Learning Possibilities Group and Managing Director of CBC Commonwealth Academy.
Dr Mehool is a serial entrepreneur in the technology and education sectors. He has managed start-ups, joint ventures, education divisions of major UK PLCs and public entities. He founded his first IT business whilst still at university and went on to develop IT businesses in the UK, Middle East, Asia and India over the following 12 years.
Since 2001, he has been at the forefront of the UK education and ICT market, firstly through a joint venture with the UK’s largest school builder, Jarvis plc, where Mehool defined the market for school ICT through the delivery of ICT learning solutions to over US$4bn of school building projects. After selling the JV to Enterprise plc, he headed up its 700-strong education division, delivering ICT and education services to schools and careers and counselling services to learners.
He founded Learning Possibilities with Professor Stephen Heppell in 2007 to build the LP+ platform - now the largest hosted and managed e-learning platform and learning community on Microsoft SharePoint technology.
In 2008, he created the CBC Commonwealth Academy jointly with the Commonwealth Business Council to develop educational programmes in Commonwealth countries, building local capable populations and bringing inward investment.
He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Institute of Directors, and is a Chartered Engineer in Information Technology.
