Learners' Voice Plays an Active Role in the 11th Youth Assembly at the United Nations

Five members of the Learners’ Voice Program, Ibrahim Al-Emadi (Qatar), Anne-Martine Augustin (Haiti), Martin De Angelis (Argentina), Florent D’Souza (India), and Ponce Ernest Samaniego (Philippines) are participating in the 11th Youth Assembly at the United Nations from August 1 to 3 in New York, USA.

Under the theme of Unwired Generation: Youth Leveraging Technology for the MDGs, this year’s Youth Assembly focuses on strengthening youth commitment to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

The five Learners are attending sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions and networking events with other young leaders from around the world. They will also be speaking at the panel Where to from here? What’s Next on the UN Youth Horizon for ME? on August 2.
