Dr. Lu Bo

Dr. Lu Bo is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of World Future Foundation, a charitable foundation in Singapore. He also serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Beijing Vantone Foundation, Advisory Board Member of the Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy at the National University of Singapore, Advisory Board Member of the Center for Leadership and Management at Rutgers University (USA), Chief Advisor to Fortune Times Magazine in Singapore and World Cities Summit Young Leaders Laureate. 

Previously, he was involved in international trade between 1992 and 1996. From 1997 to 2008, he worked with several international non-profit organizations including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Boao Forum for Asia, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the US-China Business Council. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive experience in the non-profit sector as well as international affairs.

He was born in Beijing in 1970 and speaks Mandarin, English and Arabic. He earned a Ph.D. in Non-Profit Management at Beijing Normal University, China. He also served as a visiting scholar to Indiana University (USA), and a senior visiting fellow at the National University of Singapore. 

Dr. Lu is active in the international non-profit community as a board member, consultant, speaker and author on topics related to philanthropic development, corporate social responsibility, fund-raising strategy and internationalization strategy.
