Ms Ana María Raad

Ana Maria Raad is an Ecuadorian  Social Communicator and Master in Social Development and Anthropology, with studies in the United States of America, Ecuador and Chile. A Professor in the Communication and Education program at Catholic University in Chile.  A member of the board at Universidad Casa Grande in Ecuador.   She previously worked as Director of Development for the Committee for the Democratization of Information (CDI), a Brazilian non-governmental organization, first through its Chile office and then as Country Director in Ecuador.

For the last eight years, Ana María has specialized in project areas and social development programs associated with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), social inclusion and poverty eradication through technology and social entrepreneurship.

Ana María has been key in the development of flexible tools within the PSU Educarchile portal for use by students in contexts of vulnerability, such as those caused by the 2010 earthquake and tsunami, as well as student takeovers in 2011.
