Mr. Antonio Purón, founder of Inoma, is an independent professional with research activities on public policy issues related to agriculture, poverty and migration. He is a member of the board of directors of Nadro, of Banco Santander México, of Santander Zurich México and of Microfinanciera Progresemos. He is also a member of the patronages of the National Museum of Art, of the Universidad Iberoamericana, Filantrofilia; a member of the councils of the IMCO, IFIE and the Center for Civic Collaboration. Additionally, he is a consultant for public and private institutions in matters of strategy, operations and organization. He also is Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, Inc., a firm where he collaborated for twenty-seven years as a managing partner in the Mexico office. When he retired he decided to make something to solve the problem of unequal education, especially in Mexico that suffers from low educational quality in most of its public elementary schools. This lead Antonio Purón to found Inoma, a Mexican NGO that collaborates with national and international allies and donors to solve this problem.
