Abdulhamid Haidar

Abdulhamid Haidar is the founder and CEO of Darsel, a global education technology nonprofit dedicated to improving math learning outcomes in low-resource settings.

Darsel’s personalized learning platform allows students to practice and learn curriculum-aligned math through AI-powered chatbots, which can be accessed on popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Darsel has been used by more than 260,000 students since its launch in 2021, largely thanks to government partnerships in Jordan, India, and Nigeria.

Abdulhamid was previously a management consultant at McKinsey & Company,and he holds a BSc from MIT, an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
