Almayasa Alwadani

AlMayasa AlWadaani is a first-year student at Georgetown University in Qatar, majoring in International Affairs. Born and raised in Doha, Qatar, she graduated from Qatar Academy Doha—part of Qatar Foundation Schools—in June 2025. Her academic interests center on international relations, diplomacy, and international economics.

In January 2025, AlMayasa served as the Secretary-General of THIMUN Qatar, the regional branch of The Hague International Model United Nations. In this capacity, she led one of the Middle East’s largest high school MUN conferences, bringing together students from around the world to engage in dialogue on global challenges. This experience strengthened her commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding, multilateral cooperation, and youth leadership in international discourse.

AlMayasa aspires to pursue a career that bridges diplomacy and economic development, contributing to sustainable progress both in Qatar and globally. Beyond her academic and leadership pursuits, she enjoys playing piano and participating in sports, which she considers essential to balance, creativity, and personal growth.
