Amanda Abrom

Amanda Abrom is very grateful and excited to join the WISE Emerging Leaders program! She is the Manager of the Global Schools Program, which supports a network of K12 educators across 1,500 schools in 100+ countries. Amanda conceptualized the Global Schools Advocates program for teachers and educators to integrate SDGs into school communities, curricula, and operations. Under her leadership, the program has scaled three-fold and directly reached 276,000 students, teachers, and community members. Previously, Amanda has held positions with the Chilean Ministry of Education and worked on the US Department of State’s international exchange programs for young leaders from Africa and the Middle East. She is also a Fulbright Scholar recipient; a UNCTAD Youth Delegate; a NAAEE Environmental Education 30 Under 30; and an Aspen Institute Future Leader. Amanda holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a Masters in Public Administration from the London School of Economics. In her spare time, she loves writing, and has published three fiction novels with her co-author!
