“Bassem Saad is the CEO of the Queen Rania Foundation. He is an experienced leader in the field of education and social innovation, with a strong background in strategic planning, operations, and program management. Prior to joining the Queen Rania Foundation, Bassem held senior leadership roles at several organizations, including serving as Deputy CEO at Edraak and managing European relations and cross-country collaboration agreements at Jordan’s Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an International Diploma in Business from the University of Cambridge, as well as several certifications in education from institutions including Harvard Business School, Georgetown University, INSEAD, and Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education.
In addition to his role at the Queen Rania Foundation, Bassem served as a member of the Humanitarian and Development Aid Advisory Panel for the Novo Nordisk Foundation. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Edraak, Chairman of the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, and a member of the Board of the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education.
