Claudia is an expert in international development and technologies for education with 20 years of experience at International Cooperation Agencies in the developing world, implementing, programs and strategies for poverty reduction, sustainable human development and local economic development issues in Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. In the past 15 years she has been involved in several initiatives doing analysis, implementation and advocacy for public policies in the LAC Region related to education & technologies, gender equity and human sustainable development. She has expertise in establishing public-private partnerships, negotiation and conflict resolution techniques, fundraising & strategic planning. Significant experience in local capacity building, using technologies and other participative methodologies. Ten years of teaching experience at Universities in Latin America, she is also a researcher for the UN-ECLAC and other international organizations. 

Claudia holds a Master degree in Public Policy Management from Harvard Institute for International Development and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Kansas University. She has been Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Seeds of Empowerment, a spin-off of Stanford University for the last 5 years. As an international consultant, Claudia has advised projects in technologies for education and development in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Rwanda, Namibia, Thailand and Indonesia. She is a Spanish native speaker, fluent in English, and speaks also Portuguese and German.
