Manager of Research and EvaluationDr. Martine Elie, Manager of Research and Evaluation in the Pre-University Education Division at Qatar Foundation, currently spearheads QF school climate initiatives and oversees research and evaluation across QF schools. Her diverse professional background spans higher education, private practice, public schools, early intervention, and non-governmental organizations.
Dr. Elie’s research interests include dual language education, bilingual and multicultural issues, clinical education, interprofessional practice and education, teaching and learning, service learning, and the assessment and treatment of culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) populations. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. Additionally, she has organized teacher-training programs in Haiti and led international service-learning initiatives.
Dr. Elie’s distinguished career is marked by numerous awards, including Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); ASHA Certificate of Recognition for Special Contributions in Multicultural Affairs; ASHA Award for Outstanding Contributions in International Achievement; NBASLH Scholar Mentor Award; CAPCSD Diversity Award; and the AHP Professional Achievement Award.
She holds degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University (Ph.D.), the University of the District of Columbia (M.S.), and St. John’s University (B.A.), along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
