Dr. Nada Nour Al-Daim SidAhmed is an academic and researcher specializing in Arabic language studies, with over 14 years of experience in university teaching, academic research, lexicographic writing, and literary authorship. Her academic formation bridges a deep-rooted knowledge of Arabic heritage with a rigorous engagement in modern linguistics.

Dr. SidAhmed has held various academic and administrative roles at the University of Khartoum, advancing from Teaching Assistant to Assistant Professor. She has contributed to curriculum development, managed the University Senate Secretariat and advisory committees, and participated in examination and student guidance boards. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in grammar, rhetoric, discourse analysis, classical Arabic sources, and Arabic as a second language, with a strong focus on interactive, culturally responsive pedagogy.

She currently serves as a linguistic expert specializing in Arabic lexicography at the Doha Historical Dictionary of Arabic, where she authors dictionary entries, documents linguistic citations, and analyzes lexical data using contemporary linguistic methodologies. Her research focuses on the intersection of Arabic rhetoric and functional linguistics, Arabic lexicography, and the rhetorical structures of Arabic texts. She has presented papers at academic conferences in India, Indonesia, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. SidAhmed graduated top of her class at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and was awarded Best Academic Performance twice by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Khartoum.

Beyond her academic work, Dr. SidAhmed co-founded the Sudanese Outstanding Students Forum, and she continues to write opinion pieces and critical reviews for various Arabic newspapers and cultural platforms.
