Dr. Nour Amin El Sahoryi

Dr. Nour Amin Elsahoryi is an Associate Professor of Clinical Nutrition at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Petra (Jordan) and holds a PhD from Queen’s University Belfast in the United Kingdom. She serves as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and contributes regularly to high-impact journals and international scientific forums. Her research focuses on cardiometabolic health, dietary behaviours, and nutritional biomarkers, using methodologies that range from randomized controlled trials to large community-based studies.

Dr. Elsahoryi has received multiple distinctions, including the Researcher Appreciation Award (2025) for the highest number of doctoral publications at the university level, the Distinguished Researcher Award (2024) at the University of Petra, Queen’s University Belfast’s Research Plus Award (2018), and the Best Research Idea Award.

Alongside her academic work, she leads community initiatives on food allergy awareness and caregiver education, and she delivers professional training for nutritionists in evidence-based counselling and the practical application of nutrition science in everyday practice.
