Faten Bassam Ghanem
My name is Faten Bassam Ghanem, and I am an Arabic language teacher with nearly twenty years of experience. I have spent the last ten years working in Qatar Academy Al Wakra, with previous experience in Jordan and the United States, which has provided me with extensive knowledge of modern teaching methods and the ability to work effectively in diverse cultural environments. This experience has shaped my vision for delivering impactful and meaningful language education.
I believe that teaching Arabic is not merely about rote learning or memorizing texts; it is about building a bridge between the student and their identity and culture, while fostering critical thinking, self-expression, and creativity. I strive to teach Arabic in a contemporary and engaging way that connects students to their daily lives, encourages them to use their language for communication, positive influence, and making a difference.
I am committed to instilling educational values and empowering students to take pride in their Arabic language and heritage, while developing critical thinking, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning. My goal is for the learning experience in my classroom to be holistic, nurturing both the academic and personal growth of students, and preparing them to face future challenges with confidence and competence.
