Janhvi’s passion lies in designing solutions that advance relevant, equitable, and high-quality learning in the world’s most marginalized communities. She is currently working on multiple initiatives that include digital intelligence, low-cost secondary schools, digital alternative education models, technology- and resource-free learning approaches, sports in education, education in emergencies, and the scaling of socio-emotional and trauma-support programs.
Her solutions have been recognized with numerous international awards, including the WISE Award, HundrED Global Innovations Catalog, HundrED Rapid Response Award, M-Ed Alliance Award, Open Education Award, and the Wharton-QS Reimagine Education Award – Gold Medal for Education in Impact, among others.
In her previous roles at the Ministry of Education and at Qatar Foundation, she developed several notable initiatives, including Teach For Qatar, a national literacy and numeracy program, an innovative future school model, and interdisciplinary impact frameworks for the university ecosystem. She has worked across the education spectrum—having served as a teacher, strategy consultant, and team member in start-ups and NGOs.
She has contributed to global publications for organizations such as the OECD, World Bank, and UNESCO’s Future of Education initiative, as well as the INEE and three Harvard University publications, among others. She actively participates in international education consortia and platforms, including the World Bank Evoke Program, TEDx, Salzburg Global Seminar, the WISE Awards and HundrED Spotlight Jury, and as a RewirEd Learning Ecosystems member.
She was the recipient of the Harvard Graduate School of Education Alumni Award for Impact in 2024.
