An Industrial and Systems Engineer with a Master’s in Innovation for Business Development from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Jorge Alfonso Rodríguez Tort has dedicated his career to transforming education and entrepreneurship through innovation.
With over 14 years of experience in educational innovation and entrepreneurship, he has led initiatives that promote new learning models and skills certification. As Director of Services and Consulting at the Institute for the Future of Education, he designs and implements solutions with measurable impact on employability and the future of learning.
In his role as Leader of Alternative Credentials at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Jorge has been instrumental in advancing the adoption of microcredentials and digital badges—innovative tools that are reshaping how competencies are recognized and validated in the digital age. He is currently spearheading efforts across Latin America to create a regional microcredential ecosystem that connects skills with internationally agreed-upon standards. This initiative aims to enhance cross-border recognition, promote talent mobility, and strengthen trust between education providers and employers.
