Lofred Madzou

Lofred Madzou is the Director of Partnerships at the African Olympiad Academy, a world-class residential high school based in Rwanda that trains Africa’s most gifted math and science students.He is also the CEO of SkildMind, a tech company that helps organizations align their AI initiatives with strategic objectives and generate business value. In practice, SkildMind supports clients in moving beyond pilots by co-creating AI solutions that deliver organization-wide impact.

Previously, he served as Director of Strategy at Truera, a startup in the AI observability space offering tools to test and debug AI models. He led the company’s growth efforts in Europe until its successful acquisition by Snowflake in 2024.Prior to that, he co-authored the French National AI Strategy and worked at the World Economic Forum as an AI Lead, supporting Fortune 500 companies across jurisdictions in implementing responsible AI tools and processes.

He holds an MSc in Data Science and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
