Lorraine Kenny is an experienced international educator, originally from Ireland, who has worked in IB and international schools across ten countries. With a strong background in IB schools and international education, Lorraine has taken on a range of roles, including teacher, curriculum coordinator, school director, and other leadership positions.

As part of the IB Educator Network, Lorraine works as a workshop leader, examiner, and programme leader, supporting schools and educators around the world. She is also a trained NEASC school visitor, helping schools reflect on their practices and improve. These roles have deepened Lorraine’s commitment to continuous improvement and high standards in international education.

With a passion for collaboration and professional learning, Lorraine has led teams in curriculum development, teacher training, and whole-school planning. Her experience across diverse cultures and school settings provides her with a strong global perspective.

Lorraine currently serves as Director of Learning and Teaching at SEK International School Qatar, where she continues to support educators and students in building communities that value curiosity, compassion, and international-mindedness.
