Luqmaan Sidat

Luqmaan Sidat is a passionate educator and innovator currently teaching at Qatar Academy Al Khor, part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education. With nearly a decade of experience in international education, Luqmaan integrates technology and human connection to create meaningful, culturally grounded learning experiences for his students.

As a participant in the WISE EdTech Testbed, he explores the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing literacy, creativity, and teacher efficiency, while maintaining empathy and cultural authenticity at the heart of learning. His classroom practices emphasize student agency, reflective thinking, and culturally responsive teaching within the IB Programme.

Beyond the classroom, Luqmaan holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, where he focused on AI-supported teaching and learning. He is deeply committed to empowering teachers to lead innovation, believing that technology should serve humanity — not replace it. His work reflects a simple yet powerful philosophy: before teaching content, we must first know our learners.
