Mena Abdelhady

Mena is a sophomore at Georgetown University majoring in Culture and Politics. She works directly with fellow students in multiple educational capacities: serving as a Writing Peer Tutor in Georgetown’s Writing Center, mentoring debaters as a Lead Mentor for the Georgetown Debate Union, facilitating diplomatic simulations as Deputy Head of Operations for GMUN, and participating as a member of Georgetown’s Aswatna Student Anthology planning committee, where she evaluates creative submissions to the collection. A three-time grand finalist in debate, Mena believes deeply in education that cultivates human creativity, critical thinking, and genuine intellectual engagement.
