Olivier has served since 2019 as the Director of the Learning Planet International Alliance, a global initiative in partnership with UNESCO uniting hundreds of leading organizations across the world to transform education and collectively address complex challenges such as the SDGs.
Olivier contributed to the conception of and supervises a range of innovative programmes, including the Youth Design Challenge, Learning Ecosystems in the Global South, Peaceful Futures, and Teachers for the Planet. He is also in charge of the annual LearningPlanet Festival, which celebrates learning on the occasion of the UN International Day of Education (600+ events, 450 partner organizations, 80,000 participants).
Previously (2008–2019), Olivier acquired solid expertise in the design and management of global initiatives addressing the future of learning, notably the development of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE, 2008–2012). He also contributed to a range of exemplary programmes, including Global Education Futures, Global Education Leaders Partnership (GELP), EdTech France as VP, the European Open EdTech Challenge, Learning Without Frontiers, and Catalyst NOW as co-chair of Education. He was also CEO of the WebForce3 network of digital schools, which he co-founded (2015–2019).
Olivier is also part of the advisory boards of Ecolhuma, Génération Mada, and No Limits to Hope (Club of Rome), and he is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
