Mr. John Goodwin

John Goodwin joined the LEGO Foundation on 1 April 2017 to more fervently pursue a career where he could combine his business skills with his passion for philanthropy. The LEGO Foundation passionately seeks to influence parents, teachers and policy makers to adopt play as the most powerful means for children to acquire 21^st century skills – and to provide the evidence and advocacy to support it.

John joined the LEGO Foundation after a position as Executive Vice President and CFO of the LEGO Group with responsibilities comprising finance, corporate IT, corporate business services, legal affairs, procurement, external relations and CSR. Before joining the LEGO Group, John held positions as Vice President and President in Procter & Gamble:

• 2008-2009: President – Global Snacks & Pet Care

• 2001-2004: Director – Investor Relations & Shareholder Services, Procter & Gamble

John holds a degree in Mathematical Engineering from the University of Loughborough and devotes his spare time to charitable and voluntary work.
