Yinuo Li is the co-founder of ETU School, an education effort aiming to promote changes in the education ecosystem by combining personalized education philosophy from China and the west, management expertise from private sector as well as technology platform and the online communities enabled by it to build schools and promote education equality at the same time. Yinuo was named World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader in 2016.

Yinuo is a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from industry perspectives to strategy, organization, talent recruitment and development, and women’s leadership. In her personal capacity Yinuo has a wechat blog with 670K plus followers. 
 
Yinuo is also the Director of the China Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, overseeing a team that works with China’s public, private, and nonprofit sectors to address key domestic and global health, development, and policy issues. She joined the foundation in 2015 after a career at McKinsey & Co., where she was most recently a partner at the firm’s office in Palo Alto, California. While based in McKinsey’s Beijing office from 2008 to 2013, Yinuo served as co-leader of the Healthcare Practice and as leader of the Social Sector and Global Public Health Practice.
Yinuo has a B.S. in biology from Tsinghua University in Beijing and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from UCLA.
