As Director of Programs, Aurelio oversees the WISE Prize for Education, which provides selected organizations with funding and capacity building to support the development of innovative solutions in education; the Edtech Accelerator, which offers tailored coaching to education technology startups to enable growth and further impact; and the Testbeds, which support pilots in schools in Qatar, generating evidence to inform education policies in the country. Prior to WISE, Aurelio worked in the education nonprofit sector in Brazil. He studied Communications at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Urban and Social Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York.
