Shahïn Ammane

Director, Advocacy and Community Development
Shahin Ammane is the Director of Advocacy at WISE, where he contributes to shaping education policy and supporting inclusive innovation and global dialogue on learning, equity, and sustainable development.

With over 20 years of field experience, Shahin has held various international and regional roles, including positions in the Swiss diplomatic sector and at Al Jazeera Media Network. His work has focused on humanitarian development, media, and advocacy across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Over the years, he has developed expertise in communication strategy, digital transformation, and partnership building in diverse and complex environments.

Shahin’s academic background includes master’s degrees in Anthropology and Political and Economic Sciences, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. This multidisciplinary foundation helps inform his approach to leadership, engagement, and social change.
 
Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Shahin values collaboration and continuous learning from others and building more equitable, inclusive, and forward-looking systems through education and dialogue.
