Dina Buchbinder Auron, a passionate Mexican social entrepreneur, is Chair of the Board of the United Nations Youth Association Mexico, and founder of the educational program Sports for Sharing (S4S). In 2007 she was chosen to represent her country at the Ship for World Youth, a Japanese Government program. Dina graduated from the International Relations program at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico. She is an Ashoka Fellow, and sits on the board of directors of the International Youth Foundation. As a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, she attended the 2014 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. In 2013 she represented S4S at the regional World Economic Forum in Lima, Peru, and at the Clinton Global Initiative in Rio de Janeiro, and was awarded the National Women’s Award from the National Women Congress in Mexico; she was also finalist of the Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2012 she was named a Cordes Fellow by the Opportunity Collaboration and sat at the Advisory Board of UNICEF Mexico. In 2011 she sat at the World Federation of United Nations Association’s advisory board and received an INK in association with TED Fellowship.
