Ms Kamenetz is endlessly curious about learning and the future. Her forthcoming book, The Art of Screen Time (PublicAffairs, 2018) is the first, essential, don’t-panic guide for families and screens. Her previous books are Generation Debt; DIY U: Edupunks, Edupreneurs, and the Coming Transformation of Higher Education, and The Test.
Anya Kamenetz is an education correspondent for NPR (NPR.org/ed). She is the author of several books about learning and the future. Her latest (PublicAffairs, 2018) is The Art of Screen Time: How Your Family Can Balance Digital Media And Real Life.
She was named a 2010 Game Changer in Education by the Huffington Post and won 2009, 2010, and 2015 National Awards from the Education Writers Association. NPR Ed won a 2017 Edward R. Murrow award for Innovation from the Radio Television Digital News Association. She lives in New York City, travels and speaks in many venues.
