Audry Maulana

Political Science Student

Indonesia

Audry began his contribution to the empowerment of youth in 2009 by co-founding an NGO named Indonesian Future Leaders, which focuses on promoting voluntary work and social entrepreneurship among young people. As a final year student of Political Science, he is involved in several journalism activities (both print and electronic). As a result of this work, he was selected as a Young Journalist in the 5th World Youth Congress, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

His interests lie in the dynamics of regional politics and international relations. He participated in the 2012 Harvard University Project for Asia and International Relations, where bright scholars from around the globe met and discussed current regional and global political issues.

Audry believes that education is the only reasonable way of ensuring vertical social mobility that ensures not only welfare but also justice. He also believes that education should be accessible to all, regardless of gender, race, beliefs or social class. Audry is striving to become an international political analyst, a career path that is becoming more and more important in today’s global society.
