Hossam Abouzahr
Founder, The Living Arabic Project
Hossam Abouzahr launched The Living Arabic Project in 2013, an online multi-dialect Arabic database which now includes over 200,000 entries for Standard Arabic and seven dialects. From 2012-2022 he worked in the Washington, DC area and abroad on human rights, development, and political analysis. He currently works as a grant writer on applied AI grants in the medical field at the University of Michigan. He has a master’s in Middle East Studies and a second Public Policy.
