Saba has proven experience in youth development, children and women rights as well as community based livelihoods and civic engagement programming, with over 20 years of experience in Jordan and the Middle East in the fields of development and humanitarian work. She has extensive experience in developing partnerships with civil society, donors and governments, as well as implementing quality programming both in Jordan and elsewhere in the ME region.
For the past two decades, Saba Al Mobaslat has led and advised on many national and regional programs, including leading regional efforts to advocate for a League of Arab States sponsored plan to build capacity of governments and NGOs to integrate Disaster Risk Reduction in interventions of women empowerment and Child protection, Education and health sector plans. She has been honored for her strategic intellect and humanitarian endeavors. Saba joined Save the Children in Jordan in 2006, and has successfully led and scaled up Save the Children’s operations in Jordan. Saba is now leading Save the Children’s country Office in Jordan, the largest INGO in the country.
