Adewale Olasupo is a student of English and literature at the University of Abuja. He started his advocacy as a teenager in a disadvantaged flooded community in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he worked with One African Child Foundation, together with some NGOs and the state government to address the people’s needs and educate them about proper waste management and climate change.
Over the years, he has volunteered and worked with different organizations. Adewale is a member of Activista Nigeria, a youth led group affiliated with Action aid Nigeria where he works to mobilize young people and students to become active global citizens. He is also the Nigerian ambassador for Youth Opportunities, a global opportunities provider platform for young people around the world. He believes in the power of storytelling for positive transformation and that the future is fragile without proper education.
