Dr. Diane Robinson

As Global Special Projects Lead at Teach For All, Diane leads on high impact priorities for the organization. Teach For All is a global network of 48 independently run social enterprises around the world all working to develop collective leadership to ensure all children can fulfill their potential. Diane is currently working to build the Africa Fund, a global effort to support the growth of Teach For All programs in Africa. She is also spearheading Teach For All’s efforts to develop the ability of students and educators in the network to be globally informed.

Diane began her career in education as a first-grade bilingual teacher through the Teach For America program in Los Angeles in 1994. She taught for four years before assuming senior leadership roles in national and global education non-profits like Teach For America, the KIPP Foundation and Global Nomads Group.

Diane was born on the island of Jamaica, grew up in Brooklyn, New York and has spent over 20 years at the forefront of education change in the United States and globally. She is committed to seeing students from low-income communities achieve their full potential through her work at Teach For All and through the work she does as a leadership development consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Vassar College, a Master of Arts in multicultural education from California State University and a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Diane is also a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
