Dr. Peggy Pelonis

Dr. Peggy Pelonis is President at the American Community Schools; a K- 12 International school in Athens Greece. She is a transnational Psychotherapist, author and educator who is committed to providing opportunities with intentional excellence in order for young people to develop conscious citizenship so as to problem solve for the betterment of society Dr. Pelonis has been on the faculty of Cal State University Fullerton as well as the University of LaVerne Master’s Psychology programs. She is currently Chair of the Special Interest Group of the European Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS) and works with Middle States Association (MSA) as a team leader for school accreditation. She is also on the staff of the International Committee of Adlerian Summer Schools and Institutes (ICASSI), founder of ISOS Counseling and Education Center, as well as founding member of Women for Life, a women’s empowerment center in Athens, Greece. At ACS Athens she has been Counselor, faculty, High School and Middle School Principal, Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of Academic Affairs and Vice President.
