Emma Butler

Emma graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design and Central Saint Martins with a BFA, and she is currently researching further studies in education at the University of Bath. Emma is very much part of the international mindset with extensive experience living in Japan, Mexico, Turkey, Zimbabwe, the UK and now the Persian Gulf. Emma grew up in Zimbabwe with English roots and has been working as a teacher for the past ten years in both art teaching and leadership roles. She has recently started writing about education and reflecting on personal experiences to form new conversations around art education. Emma creates large scale painting and has a background in large interactive sculpture.
