Jesse Driver

International Educator, Green School

Jesse Driver is an international educator who has been teaching since 2005.  He has previously worked in Egypt, Romania and the United States. Currently, he teaches maths and social studies, and is the Sustainability Advisor for Green School, Bali. His class, Green Works, connects students to companies and research institutions that are engaged in shaping a more sustainable future. Students work side-by-side with experts in decarbonization studies commissioned by the European Commission project Horizon 2020. Green Works students can also take an ‘entrepreneurship’ route. Here students start from identifying their values. They then learn to understand the sustainable economy through the lens of the “Green Works Triangle”. There is a module where students learn to improve soft skills and gain insight through research. Finally, students learn how to present themselves on digital media platforms in an engaging and professional manner.
