Haiti

Marc Anthony Alix was born in a little village in the North East of Jacmel (Haiti), at five kilometers away from that city. While attending Lycee Pinchinat, his native village high school, he began raising chicken and teaching young kids in the community so as to be economically independent. He was the first principal of Lycee Louis Joseph Janvier in the county of Carrefour. He ran that school from 1983 to 1987. Mister Alix helped set up several professional educational associations. They are as follows: L’Association des Ecoles Privés d’Haïti(1987) –The Association of Haiti Private Schools, Le Groupe de Reflexion et d’Action pour l’Education 1993 – The Action Group for Education. Le Consortium des Organisations du Secteur Privé del’Education 2007 – The Federation of the Organisations of the Education Private Sector.
