Ms Ronda Zelezny-Green

Ms. Zelezny-Green has an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, an MSc in Practising Sustainable Development (ICT4D Specialism), and a graduate certificate in Instructional Design for mobile environments. During her studies, she has specialized in gender issues and the use of technology for educational and development purposes, with a focus on mobile learning. In addition to conducting field-based research in Kenya, she has designed and manages a digital pen pal program with schools in the Kisii region of the country.

Ronda Zelezny-Green has published and presented on topics related to mobiles for development (M4D), including two book chapters on mobile digital storytelling in the ESL classroom and mobile-based indigenous knowledge exchange. Previous M4D reports authored by Ms Zelezny-Green have received recognition from Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, and infoDev (World Bank).  Ronda enjoys reading, traveling and volunteering, and in the digital space she enjoys hanging about on Twitter @GLaM-Leo and blogging on her website at www.rondazg.com.
