Alina is an education leader passionate about achieving better outcomes in education with social enterprises and innovators, alongside governments and funders. She is currently the Impact & Innovation Director at Global Schools Forum. In this role, she is driving forward a new area of work aimed at supporting education entrepreneurs in low- and middle- income countries to scale education innovations that improve learning for underserved children.

Prior to the Global Schools Forum, Alina was part of the co-founding team at the Education Outcomes Fund leading a pioneering innovative financing partnership with the government of Sierra Leone. She has also worked extensively on education evaluation and policy advice to education funders and governments at Oxford Policy Management, and as an Adviser to the Ministry of Economy in Moldova. She is a graduate of Oxford University and the London School of Economics. She is originally from Chisinau, Moldova and currently lives in London, UK.
