Prof. Christian Depover

Christian Depover is professor of educational sciences at the University of Mons and at the free University of Brussels (Université libre de Bruxelles) in Belgium. He shares his time between teaching, direction of a research department and international counsulting for Unesco, World bank and European Commission.

He is specialized in distance learning, use of ICT in education and analysis of educational policies.

He is the author of numerous books, papers and international reports on education. His main books concern tutoring in distance learning, e-learning in developing countries, learning through ICT…

He took part as coordinator in various research program funding by the European Commission : School of tomorrow, Interreg, Educational Multimedia Task Force, Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, Socrates Lingua, Telematics Applications programme), Petra , Comett, Tempus-MEDA, Lifelong Learning Program.
