Elizabeth Elango Bintliff

President and CEO, JA Africa


Elizabeth Elango Bintliff is the President and CEO of JA Africa, an organization engaging in entrepreneurship education, financial literacy and workforce readiness for youth and working in 14 countries in Africa. She is a development professional with over 20 years of experience working in developing countries and emerging economies. Born in Cameroon, Bintliff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and has a Masters in African Studies from the US. She was a Fulbright Scholar who started her career at the Carter Presidential Center. She also holds a Master’s Certificate in Non-Profit Management. She is a recipient of the Madhuri and Jagdish N. Sheth Distinguished Alumni Award for Exceptional Humanitarian and Service Achievement, 2019 Anzisha Prize for Entrepreneurship Evangelism and was selected as one of the 100 Most Influential African Woman. She speaks extensively on development and education in Africa including on platforms like BBC World and CNBC Africa.
