Dr. Rebecca Good

Founding Dean of the Connecticut Campus of Relay Graduate School of Education


Rebecca J. Good is the founding Dean of the Connecticut Campus of Relay Graduate School of Education. A dedicated award-winning educator, Dr. Good has served as a secondary English Language Arts teacher in Miami, Florida and an Assistant Principal, and Principal in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Good earned her B.A. in Sociology from University of California, Berkeley, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University and an Ed.D in Global Education at the Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California. Currently, Dr. Good serves as Vice President of the board of trustees at The Foote School and was appointed by the Connecticut Commissioner of Education to serve on the Connecticut State Department of Education’s Minority Teacher Recruitment Policy Oversight Council, given her extensive research on the role of state legislators in diversifying the teaching workforce.
