Founder & Chairman, Valhalla Fund
Salvador Medina is founder of The Valhalla Fund, an EdTech Accelerator, and MYCOM Interactive, a company builder focused on education, innovation and entrepreneurship. He was senior vice-president of Banco Santander, and director of institutional relations and entrepreneurship at Santander Universities until June 2017. In 2000, he joined Banco Santander to create the e-business area as director of internet projects and director of senior management training.
Salvador was also responsible for designing, launching and implementing Universia, a network of universities in Latin America and Portugal, from 2002-2005, serving as executive director and operations general manager. From 2005 to 2016, Salvador held directorship positions of innovation and strategic projects, institutional relations and expansion, and marketing at Santander Universities. In 2012, he was promoted to senior vice-president of Banco Santander; the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Initiative was added to his responsibilities in 2016.
